Emphasis has been placed on providing financial assistance to the families of police officers in case of accidental death on duty or in an accident. An MoU is going to be signed soon with Police and national level banks.

According to the information received from a senior police officer, many police officers of Commissionerate Police have died prematurely in the past few days. How many police officers have died due to accidents. After the policeman’s death, their family is facing a sad situation. A plan is being made so that the families who are dependent on their livelihood after the untimely retirement of policemen who immerse themselves in police service in the society do not have to face any financial problems. A departmental level effort has been initiated to provide financial assistance to the police so that his family is not disheartened by his untimely demise.

This will include all the policemen working in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, along with the staff working in the traffic police, battalion and reserve.
