ASO Baikuntha Pradhan was beaten up by the governor’s son. Biju Youth and Students Janata Dal have protested against the lack of justice. These two front organizations of BJD have protested in front of Raj Bhavan. Biju Janata Dal MLAs and senior leaders have joined the protest. The party demanded that the law be applied equally to all.
BJD has demanded to arrest the Governor’s son with protection of Baikunth. BJD MLA Byomkesh Roy said, “During the Biju Janata Party government, whoever did wrong was punished. BJD president used to take swift action if found guilty. At that time, action was also taken against 3 MLAs. Today, Mohan Sarkar, who came to power by talking about orthodoxy, gave justice to an orthodox son. Not giving.”
BJD MLA Byomkesh said, “ASO Baikunth Pradhan was beaten up by the governor’s son while he was working in the Raj Bhavan. In fact, he was asked to spit on his shoes and lick them. He was assisted by some Jharkhand friends. The incident is very unfortunate. The nature of Odisha has come under fire. In this incident, Mohan Govt. Unreservedlylent is even after 10 days. Is the law different for the governor’s son? The protest will continue in the coming days.
