After IAS, OASD now engineer. A tall engineer baby is sitting on the couch. He has been in one position for many years. After retirement, he got another job. One is working in multiple positions. Such a situation has been seen in the Water Corporation of Odisha or WATCO under the state government. After retirement, Bharat Bhushan Panda has been working as an estimator with manager of Palashuni Subdivision for 2 years. Not only him, after his retirement, Ramchandra Sahu has been working as SDO in Ghatikia Subdivision, Lalit Mohanty Old Town Subdivision and Johan Mohanty Pokhariput Subdivision. And Basant Kumar Behera is working as General Manager in charge of Palashuni and Nayapalli subdivisions.

The most surprising thing is that Watco CEO Pradeep Kumar himself is sitting on this seat after his retirement from Public Health Department as Superintendent Engineer. He said that since the government is not hiring new people, they have to work with very few experienced people.

It has been alleged that some of the engineers in the assistant managers of Watco were promoted two years ago but were not posted. On the other hand, young engineers are losing their jobs because some big coteries are re-employing old people, unemployed engineers said. Retired engineers say old people are being hired more and more because of experience. No chance will be given to new or promoted candidates.
