DRM RAYAGADA INSPECTED RAYAGADA- KORAPUT SECTION TODAY

Divisional Railway Manager, Rayagada Shri Amitabh Singhal inspected the Rayagada- Koraput section today (11.01.2025). He reviewed ongoing developmental activities in the said section.

Shri Amitabh Singhal, has graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from NIT Trichy. He is from 1995 batch of Indian Railways. His 1st posting was Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer in Electric loco shed Kalyan in July 1999. A key contributor in design , manufacturing, commissioning and testing of Vande Bharat Express (Train 18), becomes 1st DRM of Rayagada Railway Division.

Being the maiden visit to the Division after assuming charge on 10.01.25, DRM inspected the proposed Rayagada Division Building site. Members of Chamber of commerce & industry and Station Consultative Committee met DRM and greeted him with best wishes for his new assignment.

Speaking with media during the Rayagada Inspection, DRM said that, emphasis will be given to Safety, passenger amenities and Punctually along with expediting of Infrastructure related works.

DRM also conducted a window trailing inspection from Rayagada to Koraput, overseeing the safety aspects viz. points and crossing, signalling system, tunnels, ongoing infrastructure development activities and assessing the progress of amenities in the section.
