HONOURABLE UNION MINISTER GF RAILWAYS VISIT TO ICF

Shri. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology visited Integral Coach Factory
(ICF) on 10.01.2025. He inspected the modified version of Amrit Bharat Coaches with improved features of passenger comfort and safety, including Modified toilet and Couplers. He also inspected Vistadome Air Conditioned Dining Car. Shri U. Subba Rao, General Manager/ICF briefed the features of Amrit Bharat coaches and Vistadome Dining Car to him. Hon’ble MR congratulated Team ICF for constantly innovating and for incorporating the special features in Amrit Bharat for the benefit of common public. Later he met the staff representatives of various Trade Unions and had brief
discussions with them.

• Semi-automatic couplers instead of semi-permanent for easy attachment
and detachment.

• Electro pneumatic assisted brake system for quick brake application
• Fully sealed gangway for quick coupling & decoupling
