The Mohan government will withdraw the grant of Rs. 50Lakh No one will be deprived now. Panchayatiraj Minister Ravi Naik said that action will be taken against anyone involved in corruption. After returning from Delhi on Wednesday, the minister said this in response to the media at the airport.

Rural Development and Panchayatiraj Minister said, “The work of the Panchayatiraj department in the previous government is lagging behind. The BJD central scheme is not working properly. The grant of Rs. 50 Lakh. There was no plan. The third floor was monitoring. There was no record of who was doing it. Minister Ravi Naik said that any irregularity in the department will be investigated and brought to public consultation.

It is worth noting that Odisha Rural Development, Panchayat and Drinking Water Minister Ravi Narayan Naik held a meeting with Water Power Minister Syar Patil at the Union Water Ministry in New Delhi yesterday (Tuesday) on the development of rural areas and the elimination of drinking water problems in the state. In this meeting, both the ministers discussed working through the good governance model of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government and promoting Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in rural areas. Senior officials of the Ministry of Water Power, Government of India and the Department of Rural Development, Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water, Government of Odisha were also present in the meeting.
