Regularization of nursing officers

The state government has regularized 1022 nursing officers. It was decided in a high-level meeting held on the last 12th to regularize all these nursing officers working in 4 medical colleges including 28 districts. Yesterday, the Health and Family Welfare Department has written a letter to the District Collectors of 28 districts to regularize them. Among them, maximum 106 nursing officers have been regularized in Cuttack.

14 people from Angul district, 4 people from Bargarh district, 3 people from Bhadrak district, 5 people from Balaswar district, 30 people from Balangir district, 13 people from Boudh district, 106 people from Cuttack district, 17 people from Dhenkanal district, 32 people from Gajapati district, 73 people from Ganjam district, 3 from Jagatsinghpur district, 51 from Jajpur district, 12 from Jharsuguda district, 74 from Kalahandi district, 47 from Kandhamal district, 79 from Khurda district, 64 from Koraput district, 77 from Keonjhar district, 44 from Malkangari district, 34 from Mayurbhanj district, 36 from Nabarangpur district, 2 from Nayagarh district. , 20 from Nuapada, 5 from Puri district, 69 from Rayagada district, 1 from Sambalpur district, 34 from Subarnapur district, 2 from Sundergarh district, 24 from MKCG Brahmapur, 16 from Vimsar Burla, 12 from SCB Medical College, SVPG 19 from IP Cuttack. So 1022 people in total. Out of them, 300 health workers have been regularized from general category, 254 from SEBC category, 216 from SC category, 252 from ST category.

It appears that 3016 persons were included in various Nursing Officers under Health and Family Welfare Department. Out of them 1861 people were regularized at various stages. In particular, Nursing Officers were regularized through May 15, 2020, November 11, 2020, December 7, 2020, June 28, 2021, November 15, 2022, April 21, 2023 and July 24, 2023. At present 1022 persons have been regularized as Nursing Officers.

According to the information, in a high level meeting held on last 12th, it was proposed to regularize the nursing officers working under general health services on the functioning of Group “B”, “C” and Group “D” of the state. In particular, Health Department Secretary Shalini Pandit, Health Department Special Secretary Supriya Jena, Health Director Vijay Mohapatra and Nursing Director Adhendu Naik attended the meeting and discussed all aspects.
